Simon’s Sunday Stroll – The Road to Nowhere
Join Simon for one of his Sunday Strolls, starting outside of the Dartmoor National Park Visitor Centre in Princetown. (Car Park is £1 for half a day or £2 all day so take some park park change) We will stroll down the road to look at the road which people call ‘The Road to Nowhere’ and also the ‘Conchies Road’ built by the conscientious objectors of the Great War who were kept in Dartmoor Prison. We will be passing by the Crock of Cold Cist for those who are interested in that prehistoric burial.
Plan to be back by 1pm. This is a walk of about four miles of gentle pace over easy ground and tracks.
Booking is not required for this walk. For further information, contact your guide using the details to the left.
