The Tamar Valley, the Devon coastline and the nearby 365 square miles of Dartmoor National Park offer some of the best trail and off-road running in the country. Having lived and worked in the area for twenty years we have got to know the trails pretty well and are happy to show them to you, whatever your level of fitness or standard. We know some great places to run and have a few tried-and-tested routes which we know you will love. We can provide a bespoke guided run, whether it is over the highest point on Dartmoor, High Willays or the dramatic coastal cliffs around Hope Cove.

Spirit of Adventure offer a wide range of adventure and activity holidays, courses and training from our base in the heart of Dartmoor National Park in Devon.
A quality, spacious granite barn set in 2 acres with gorgeous views of Dartmoor. Ideally situated for the moors and Cornwall. The barn is beautifully fitted and will suited those looking to relax. We have a separate outside boot/drying room. Children very welcome.

The Foxtor Cafe
The Fox Tor Café, or FTC as we’re known to some of our regulars, is situated close to the centre of Princetown which boasts 2 pubs, a local store/post office, the High Moorland Visitor Centre, The Dartmoor Centre for Creativity, library, Prison museum and the Old Smithy!
The Ramblers’ Rest Guest House
The Ramblers’ Rest is a guesthouse in what was The Railway Inn, an 18th Century former hotel and public house in the centre of Princetown. Our self-catering accommodation concept was born around new safety protocols necessary in a global pandemic and designed around our challenging English weather, and the practicalities for accommodation for walkers and cyclists.
The Rectory Tea Rooms
The Rectory is located in the small rural parish of Morwenstow, overlooking the rugged coastline of North Cornwall. Built in the 13th Century the house is filled with character; from the antique furnishings and slate floors, to the open fires and original Oak Beams salvaged from the many ships wrecked along the North Cornwall coastline.
