Walk overview

Guided walk beginning by the East Dart River and the ancient clapper bridge in Bellever Forest which then goes through the forest before heading out onto the moor near Laughter Tor. This walk is aimed at people using mobility scooters but all walkers welcome.
We will meet for all these accessible events at 1030am for an 11am start to give time for unloading scooters etc and preparations.
Walking grade medium walkers- level 2
Mobility scooters – category 3. Gravel forest paths with some inclines. Option to go up Laughter Tor which is steep and on rough grass paths

Walk overview

This guided walk will go through the scenic village of Belstone and then up onto the moor to the Nine Maidens stone circles. Learn about the myths of the stones and admire the views to the north and west before moving on to the East Okement river and Cullever Steps. This walk is aimed at people using mobility scooters but all walkers welcome.

A guided walk from Challacombe Farm and the ruins of a mediaeval hamlet, past the remains of a tin mine to Soussons Forest. This route uses gravel
forest tracks and bumpy grassy paths. This walk is aimed at people using mobility scooters but all walkers welcome
Parking at Challacombe Farm PL20 6TD Free of charge. This is off the minor road that runs between the B3212 and Widdecombe

Mobility scooters – Category 3. A mix of grass and gravel paths which can be bumpy

Walk overview

This walk follows the Teign river before going up a steep hill to the Iron Age fort from where there are spectacular views along the valley. The path then descends and the rest of the walk is flat alongside the river. The path has a gravel surface. This walk is aimed at people using mobility scooters but all walkers welcome.
Park beside the road leading down to the Fingle Bridge Inn (EX6 6PW). Free of charge
The meeting point and start will be in the Fingle Woods Car Park area on the opposite side of the river to the Fingle Bridge Inn.
