Join Simon Dell on a trip to Lundy Island. We will be sailing from Bideford at 8.30am and returning back into Bideford at 8pm so we will meet at the Bideford Quay shore office at 7.30am. You book your own ticket for the day by ringing the shore office on 01271 863636 details are also at www.landmarktrust.org.uk/lundyisland/day-trips/bookings Adult tickets are £38. The sailing takes about 2 hours and so bring a packed lunch with you because we will leave the Lundy jetty and go straight out onto our walk and call in at the village on our return in the afternoon. On some Bideford days there is sometimes and opportunity to also do a round the island trip for a modest cost at the end of the day. If this is available then I usually do the commentary for the ship and this is a great way of seeing the island. Make sure you come dressed for the weather just in case it is inclement because there isn’t much shelter on Lundy. No dogs are allowed on Lundy.
