29/10/2020 | From a Bronze Age settlement to the top of Bellever Tor
Learn about life and death in Bronze Age Britain. We will visit a Bronze Age settlement and tomb, and climb Bellever Tor, with magnificent views in clear weather. We may spot the herd of Dartmoor ponies which maintain the site with their ‘conservation grazing’.
Children welcome but must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.
We will observe government Covid guidelines including physical distancing. Please bring hand sanitiser. Do not come if you have any Covid symptoms or are supposed to be self-isolating.
Meet at Postbridge forest car park just across the road from Postbridge visitor centre.
